As a Senior Software Engineer on our Design System Team, you'll drive the evolution of our design system into a widely-adopted framework that transforms the user experience across multiple platforms. scale the design system: lead the expansion of our design system into apps and self-service platforms while continuing to refine web implementations;
innovate for the future: design and develop front-end components and tools that empower other teams to adopt and build with the system efficiently;
collaborate across teams: work closely with designers, developers, and product teams to ensure system-wide consistency and accessibility;
enhance usability: create and maintain documentation, versioning, and tools for monitoring and optimizing design system performance;
advance accessibility: integrate inclusive design principles to ensure the system meets and exceeds accessibility standards, making it usable for all. Foster a culture of accessibility-first thinking across teams;
mentor and guide: share your expertise with colleagues through code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance on best practices.
proven expertise in design systems: experience creating, scaling, and maintaining design systems, with a focus on adoption and cross-team collaboration;
front-end excellence: mastery of TypeScript and CSS plus frameworks and development tools like React, Next.js, Vite and Tailwind;
CMS expertise: experience with content management systems, particularly Strapi;
cloud knowledge: familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GitHub, Cloudflare, Terraform, Jenkins);
commitment to quality: knowledge of accessibility standards, responsive design, and performance optimization techniques;
strong communication and teamwork: ability to collaborate effectively, lead initiatives, and mentor other developers;
interest for continuous learning: enthusiasm for staying updated with industry trends and applying innovative solutions.
Bonus points for:
expertise in design system frameworks and design tokens;
good understanding of REST APIs and experience working with back-end integration;
experience with data visualization tools (e.g., D3, Recharts);
proficiency in prototyping tools like Figma;
contributions to open-source projects.
