Engineering Manager,

Join us as the Engineering Manager and spearhead our commitment to the green journey.

Lead the engineering teams to deliver high-value business goals, play a pivotal role in the organization to build engineering culture and high-performance teams.

You will focus on leading, mentoring and managing your team, focusing on fostering a strong cross-departmental team culture, ensuring professional development and driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role is pivotal in aligning engineering efforts with business objectives and maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.

Your role on this journey will be:

  • overseeing the daily operations of the engineering team;

  • collaborating with the Software Development department, Product Managers, Product Owners and Software Architect to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions;

  • having a high-level understanding of the business, processes and goals of respective stakeholders;

  • identifying opportunities to improve the software development lifecycle, including methodologies, technical processes and tools;

  • performance monitoring;

  • mentoring and developing team members;

  • maintaining a basic understanding of the technologies and architectures used by the team;

  • retaining top engineering talent and lead the recruitment process for new engineers.

You are a great match if you:

  • experience in leading development teams and solutions;

  • an excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

  • strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges;

  • deep knowledge of software development practices, tools and methodologies (preferably with hands-on experience in software development),

  • experience with Atlassian products, MS Office365 tools, GitHub/Bitbucket;

  • high level of spoken and written proficiency in English (Estonian is an advantage).

Where? Tallinn, partial remote work possibility.
