Data Engineer,

join us on the green journey

Are you ready to disrupt the energy sector?

As a engineer, you contribute to the green journey by building and maintaining trading software that enables efficient, transparent, and reliable energy markets. Your work supports the integration of renewable energy, dispatchable and flexible assets by ensuring robust systems and accurate data flows.

With us, you can:

  • work at the heart of the energy trading department, building systems that directly support real trading decisions;

  • design, develop and maintain modern trading and analytical platforms used by traders and analysts every day;

  • collaborate closely with a highly skilled team of traders, analysts, developers and data experts;

  • expand your skill set through exposure to advanced analytics, quantitative methods and large‑scale data environments;

  • enjoy 5 additional vacation days after your first year of work;

  • gain access to the Stebby platform and/or health insurance, allowing you to use sports and medical services on favorable terms. Your well-being is important to us!

You are a great match if you:

  • have 3+ years of experience in software development, ideally in data‑driven or analytical domains;

  • write clean, efficient code in Python (data management and calculations, interface development), HTML/JavaScript (understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Modern JavaScript) and SQL (ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, design database data structure);

  • thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with traders, analysts and developers;

  • enjoy solving business problems and can turn unclear requirements into working solutions;

  • are fluent in Estonian and in English.

    An advantage: experience with analytical solvers, large‑scale time‑series data, Apache Iceberg, distributed SQL engines (Starburst/Trino), or the Posit platform.
