Head of Business Development/Member of the Management Board of Enefit

To support our transformation and strengthen our leadership structure, we are now looking for a Member of the Management Board for Enefit.

Your mission:

Will be to lead and grow the business development function in Enefit. You will be responsible for driving the development of new generation assets, energy storage and flexibility solutions, and hardware-based customer solutions. Your goal is to develop and implement strategies that strengthen Enefit’s position as the leading developer of future-proof energy solutions in the region. You will develop and implement long-term growth strategies across various assets. Your focus will be on enhancing the competitiveness and profitability of the business line by maximising generation capacity and technological capabilities, while positioning Enefit as the most innovative and sustainable developer of energy solutions in the region.

Your duties will include:

• Develop and implement long-term growth strategies across various assets;

• Build and lead a high-performing business development team;

• Coordinate product development and technical solutions to meet customer and portfolio needs;

• Monitor market and technology trends to ensure competitive advantage;

• Ensure the business viability of major projects;

• Contribute at Management Board level to company-wide strategy and decision-making. 

What we are looking for:

• A higher education in technology (energy, industrial engineering, or similar), additional training in business administration is an advantage;

• Outstanding international executive experience in energy, industry, or infrastructure development and project management. Strong knowledge of power generation, energy storage, and flexibility solutions, including regulated energy markets;

• A proven track record of delivering large-scale investment and infrastructure projects from idea to construction;

• Strength in strategic asset development, innovation, and implementing new technologies;

• An inspiring leader with experience in cultural and organisational transformation. You are comfortable operating in an international, English-speaking environment;

• High ethical standards and a strong sense of responsibility.
