Quantitative Analyst,

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will support power price and production forecast unit for math, optimization and in-depth data related tasks.

In this role, you will:

• develop, maintain and continuously improve core forecasting, simulation and decision support solutions;

• design and implement tools for forecasting, and operational planning;

• contribute to quantitative models, algorithmic solutions, data processing workflows, and system automation initiatives across multiple business domains;

• handle and process weather-related datasets, including gridded data sources;

• integrate weather-related models and data streams into systems;

• develop and maintain renewable asset forecasting solutions at both the individual asset and portfolio levels;

• prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation and presentation materials;

• validate and backtest models, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with data engineers to implement enhancements;

• contribute to cross-functional projects and other ad hoc data, modelling, and analytics initiatives.

You are a great match if you:

• have work experience in the fields of Data Analysis, Data Science, or Quantitative Analysis;

• have strong analytical and data-related skills, including developing complex prediction models, solving optimization problems, automating, and handling large volumes of data;

• are experienced in either R or Python, complemented by a basic familiarity with the other;

• are familiar with data workflows, including data storage, access, and transformation (SQL, data import/export, and Parquet files);

   

• are a results-oriented team player with an eagerness to learn;

• hold a university degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field;

• speak fluent English.
