We’re looking for an SRE with a strong software engineering background to help us build and run our modern developer platform. Our Platform Team supports more than 200 engineers across the company. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills — working closely with delivery teams and fellow SREs, aligning on best practices, and scaling solutions across the organization.
design, build, and operate platform services that scale across 200+ engineers;
improve and maintain CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins);
drive shift-left security with tools like GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS), Trivy, and policy enforcement baked into the SDLC;
work with Kubernetes (on-prem and AKS) as an advanced user, enabling GitOps workflows and secure integrations;
build integrations with cloud providers and developer tooling to reduce friction;
balance standardization with flexibility to keep the developer experience smooth;
help modernize by gradually phasing out legacy tooling and aligning with cloud-native, sustainable solutions;
solid software engineering background (comfortable reading/writing production code);
hands-on experience with CI/CD and modern SDLC practices;
knowledge of shift-left security and security scanning tools (GHAS, Trivy, SAST/DAST);
experience with Kubernetes (on-prem + AKS) from a developer/user perspective;
familiarity with GitHub Actions and Jenkins;
strong collaboration skills: ability to work with delivery teams and SREs to align on best practices and scale them across the organization;
experience with Terraform and/or Ansible, or motivation to learn and adopt them as part of the role;
pragmatism, resilience, and a passion for improving developer experience;
proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
a modern platform engineering environment where developer experience and security come first;
freedom to influence platform direction and introduce new practices;
work that scales — your decisions and solutions will shape how 200+ engineers build and deliver software;
a supportive, collaborative team that values openness and pragmatic solutions;
the chance to shape the future developer platform while helping phase out legacy along the way;
the opportunity to join Stebby platform facilities and/or health insurance, which will allow you to use sports and medical services on favorable terms. Your well-being is important to us!
5 additional vacation days after the 1st year of work and an annual performance-based bonus.
Location: Tallinn or Tartu, partial remote work possibility.
Visa/Relocation: We are not offering a relocation package or visa sponsorship for this role.
We await your CV by 26.10.2025 at latest.
