We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Zeus Team and help build and evolve the systems behind energy trading and flexibility services. You will work on high-impact distributed systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and take ownership of production-grade software in a complex and fast-moving domain.
actively shape the technical direction through design discussions and implementation;
collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Solution Architects to shape the future of our energy trading and flexibility systems;
design and implement robust, secure, and maintainable software solutions for real-time data flows and market integrations;
mentor and support team members while fostering knowledge sharing and engineering best practices;
drive improvements in performance, reliability, and deployment processes;
contribute hands-on to development, code reviews, and system design.

a strong background in software engineering, architecture, or DevOps;
a strong experience with C#/.NET Core (or other languages, with a willingness to switch to C#);
experience with frontend frameworks (For example: React, Angular, Vue);
strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MSSQL;
a solid understanding of event-driven systems and streaming platforms, including Kafka and WebSockets;
familiarity with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines;
a proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions;
a strong cultural fit: you value clarity, collaboration, curiosity, and mentorship, enjoy helping teams grow, and thrive in a learning-focused environment;
willingness to take full operational ownership, including system monitoring, reliability, incident management, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation;
